This is the first update to this site. The purpose of the update is to is to explain the changes to the donation page. The donation page now asks any contributor to limit contributions to $100.00 or less. This change was made in keeping with my belief that money plays much too big a role in politics. I'm sorry I didn't step up to the plate and begin my campaign with this limit.

If you take the trouble to go to the Secretary of State's web site, you'll see that my campaign has received donations beyond the $100.00 limit. These are all from friends, co-workers, and relatives. (You'll also see that my campaign has received far less donations than most other candidates.) Because I'm most concerned about donations from attorneys to judges, I'm authorizing the return of all but $100.00 of any attorney donation to my campaign. I'd do the same with the other donations but the funds simply aren't there.

Again, if you do the research, you'll see that I've received donations from only five attorneys, excluding myself: two are co-workers, two are dear friends, and one is both dear friend and uncle. Making these refunds should just about balance out my campaign account.
